We are fortunate to have the day off of school today in remembrance of the great leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The students watched a video on Friday that taught the children about the wonderful things Martin did for our country and explored what their lives may be like today without him... scary! The children were moved by this man and had many questions about Martin and what life was like for him growing up. If you have the time today or this week, I'm sure your children would love to know more about him.
