Here are some pictures from our field trip in December to the Baltimore Museum of Industry.
The students took on various roles, each acting out a job that one would have had in Baltimore when the museum was a cannery in the late 1800s. Some of the jobs the students had were a baker, stevedore, ship captain, oyster shucker, pharmacist, grocery store manager and banker. The pictures show some of the children as they were acting out their jobs.
